Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their purchases. You will play a key role in driving sales through effective upselling techniques and maintaining a positive shopping experience for all customers. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and ascertain their shopping needs.
- Provide knowledgeable assistance with product selection and recommendations.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor, including restocking shelves as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Utilize basic math skills for transactions and inventory management.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
-Must be 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of retail math concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to supervise or guide junior staff when necessary.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A proactive attitude towards upselling products and enhancing customer experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
